Brazil is chairing the global platform gathering and will hand over the presidency of the G20 to SA.

President Cyril Ramaphosa in a bilateral meeting with Brazil’s President Lula da Silva, ahead of the #G20 Leaders’ Summit in Rio.

The President will be accompanied by International Relations and Cooperation Minister Ronald Lamola and Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni. Brazil’s G20 presidency is prioritising a number of areas like fighting poverty, energy transition, promotion of sustainable development in its economic, social, environmental and the reform of global governance institutions.
