Author:Maria BobilaPublish date:Oct 1, 2019As if the Kardashian-Jenner family didn't have enough businesses under their belt, it seems like the only industry that's left for them to truly conquer — er, konquer — is resale. According to WWD, the five sisters and their momager, who revealed the news via Instagram, will be launching Kardashian Kloset on Friday. The online resale boutique will offer designer items straight from their closets — we mean klosets.
On Kardashian Kloset's Instagram page, we already have a sneak peek of some pieces that will be up for grabs, including a Kith x Misbhv two-piece set and Off-White boots from Kylie Jenner, as well as a Gucci handbag from Kris Jenner. The family has dipped its toes into resale before; they've auctioned off their personal fashion pieces on such sites as Ebay with the proceeds donated to charity. However, little information on Kardashian Kloset is available as of now.
The idea to dive into resale with their very own business seems like a pretty smart one for the Kardashian-Jenners: The industry has experienced a surge in mainstream popularity through 2018, and since then, resale sites have only thrived — despite some instances of potentially strained authentication practices. Venture capitalists have invested heavily in companies like StockX, Rebag, ThredUp, Vestiaire, Grailed, Depop and more.

This is not new. Kim was selling used Herve Leger bandage dresses and Louboutin pumps from her Princess Kim eBay page back in 2006-2007.
