Minister for Home Affairs Peter Dutton says the government is committed to keeping small businesses safe online after a massive increase in cyberattacks during the pandemic.
“We want to make sure our laws are designed to protect young families, to make sure they are designed to protect small businesses,” he says. Mr Dutton also disclosed there were 100 additional cyber investigators to help stop the attacks on Australians online. “We do want to keep Australians safe in the real society, and we do want to keep people safe online.”
