OPTOMETRY services and optical shops have been allowed to operate under the movement-control order , said Annuar Musa. The federal territories minister said the industry was barred from operating but on Thursday the National Security Council had decided to allow them to open for business. What’s next? Opening of gyms and swimming pools? Why bother doing MCO then? Everyday something else is being relaxed and loosened. Have we not learn the lesson in the 4th quarter of 2020 when SOPs were continously relaxed as cases rose?
