Electric scooter company Lime says it pulled some scooters over battery fire issue

Per Lime’s terms of service (sect. 1.14), a customer injured by a defective scooter has no recourse and is solely responsible for medical bills, lost wages, pain/suffering, disability, disfigurement. We wrote about scooter companies’ waivers of liability.
