Almost a fifth of Irish consumers currently own or have previously owned cryptocurrency, a new study has found. The 2022 Global State of Crypto report, carried out by the popular cryptocurrency exchange Gemini Payments, found that 18 per cent of Irish consumers own or previously owned a digital currency, which his in line with ownership levels in other countries like Britain , Germany , Australia and the US .
