President Michael D Higgins overshadowed his own speech on climate change at the opening of the DCU Centre for Climate and Society in Dublin on Thursday with his attack on Elon Musk. As you’re probably aware, without naming Musk directly, the president criticised attempts by billionaires to control public discourse, and described the purchase of Twitter for $44 billion as a case of “dangerous narcissism”.

cooper_m Private enterprise has not served this nation well, especially in cases where the taxpayer is impoverished, we firstly need to investigate past deals fully and out the beneficiaries, it's a pity the 4th estate has been bought off largely
