Kroger, Albertsons leaders believe merger will reduce prices for consumers, experts aren't so sure

Ah yes, there’s nothing more proven than prices to consumers falling after someone spends $25B on an acquisition, further reducing competition. 🙄 The only way that works is if they didn’t have competing locations in the same geographical area.
