Lil' Buddy Puzzlez a collaboration between owner Dave Fortune and Atlantic Canadian photographers

, in 2017 as a way to make some income while out of work due to an injury. Five years later, Fortune’s business has grown and earned him more local recognition than he ever anticipated.

Although currently, Dave Fortune can only make 500-piece puzzles with his home-based business, he is expanding in the new year and will be able to make 100, 300 and 48-piece puzzles. – Kristin Gardiner “Everything is made right here on the Island ... However, the cutting machine he needed was out of his price range, so he worked with O'Leary-based puzzle maker Rick Cameron. When Cameron retired, Fortune was gifted his old machine. – Kristin Gardiner
