RBC cuts more than a dozen jobs in U.S. investment bank in second round of layoffs

The lender’s RBC Capital Markets division is laying off more than a dozen of its U.S. investment-banking team, which is comprised of about 1,000 employees, said some of the people, who asked not to be identified discussing personnel changes. The bank has also been hiring. It recently added senior talent from institutions including Credit Suisse Group AG and SVB Securities.
