Nottingham City Council has issued an update following the promotion of Notts County. A large banner has been installed at Nottingham Council House by the City Council in celebration of Notts County's promotion, but there will not be any further celebrations due to financial pressures.
Fans have been celebrating in the city as well as across the county since the match at the weekend. In May 2022, Nottingham Forest fans took to Old Market Square to celebrate their premier league return.
