The Calgary Court of Justice judge found Aitkens guilty on July 20, 2020, of two charges under the Alberta Securities Act, includingRobertson suggested dates that far down the line because Beresh wishes to make written submissions on whether Aitkens should be ordered to pay restitution to three of his victims.Those individuals, including Norman Yee, who also filed a victim impact statement read in by Hurich, formally filed requests that Aitkens be ordered to pay them back the money they lost.
In Yee’s statement, he explained he lost a significant amount of his life’s savings, $49,950, investing through Aitkens in Legacy Communities Inc.Article content
