A fuel merchant of five generations in the coal trade celebrated its 100th birthday as the ‘last company to be delivering coal in the borough’.
“The job is very challenging. We are out in all weathers carrying heavy bags of coal to people’s homes, even during the bitter winter months in which we are the busiest. But I love everything about this job, especially interacting with our customers. They are like your mates.
