The product-led growth model has proved increasingly popular in recent years for more efficient customer acquisition, retention and monetization. A September 2023 survey found thatwere planning to increase their PLG efforts within the next 12 months, including investing more in customer support and keeping better eyes on product signals that directly impact freemium conversion.

You may also find that your go-to-market strategy and corresponding product strategy are detached from the way customers actually consume your product in a PLG model.
