A remarkable 5.4 million people reported using cannabis in the past three months

The number of Canadians buying cannabis from illegal sources has declined by 13 per cent in the last year, in what is one of the first official signs that the legal cannabis market is slowly but surely chipping away at the black market.

“A similar decrease was noted for the proportion reporting friends or family as a source among 15 to 24-year-olds compared to those aged 25 and above . Black market lol

Don’t think there is any truth in this article at all...

Why wouldn’t it decline? There’s another supplier although it’s a more expensive and less reliable one. I’m not a user but people I talk to say that the black market is cheaper and reliable. Who to believe.

haha and how would you get intel about the black market to know if it's declining. I only know my neighbourhood but... it's thriving here. Quality is better from people growing and it's a fifth the price

I think your reporting is suspect, since more people are turning the the black market since governments can not keep a steady supply of the crappy marijuana in stock.

If the black market weed looks like that who can blame them

Is it though? I've seen two stories this week alone about pot shops losing money. Which would lead people to believe the black market is still thriving, if not expanding.

I can't wait to hear how all of the tax revenue from this industry will help alleviate Ontario's apparent budgeting issues. Will the money be reinvested into health and education? I won't hold my breath.

Duh ?
