The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board said over the weekend it accredited 14 new transport network companies to increase competition and improve the overall quality of ride-hailing services for commuters.
The recent accreditation of PureRide Corp. and 13 other TNCs bring the total number of accredited TNCs to 19. Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista earlier stressed the importance of a diversified and competitive ride-hailing market to provide safe, reliable and affordable transportation options for all Filipinos.
