Eamonn Holmes reportedly found solace in the company of a former "professional mistress" before he started dating his glamorous new partner.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she said: "After he and Ruth announced they were splitting up, he sent me a number of gloomy emails saying that his health was bad and everything was difficult. I was sympathetic, of course. Then I saw he had a girlfriend and I felt a bit silly offering support when he had a woman on his arm."
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who shared the news of their split back in May after a 14-year marriage and raising their son Jack, 22, have been moving on with their lives. Eamonn is now in a relationship with 42 year old Katie Alexander.
