DOLE urges safety of workers in pyrotechnics industry

The Department of Labor and Employment has urged establishments in the pyrotechnics industry to strictly observe occupational safety and health standards to safeguard workers during the Holiday season.

Citing Republic Act No. 11058, or the OSH Act, and related issuances, Laguesma stressed the importance of adhering to safety protocols in the production, distribution, and sale of pyrotechnics to prevent workplace accidents.
