Hailing from Romford, east London, Franky dropped out of school before attaining any GCSEs and began working her first shifts at the chippy at the age of 16.

'I started working there on December 1 three years ago and with the busiest day of the year coming up, and I said to one of the girls with kids'want me to cover for you?' so she can have Christmas with her family. 'All the managers said I could but it's so so busy and they wondered if I was ready to do it and honestly it was so easy - I just got on with it from the age of 16.'
