Creative posts Q4 net loss of US$2.8m on market uncertainty

CREATIVE Technology recorded a net loss attributable to equity holders of US$2.8 million for the fourth quarter ended June 30, compared with a net profit of US$25.6 million in the year-ago period, it said in a results release after market close on Wednesday.

Revenue for the fourth quarter fell 9 per cent to US$12.8 million from US$14.1 million in the year-ago period. Creative recorded a full-year net loss of US$3.8 million, compared with a net profit of US$40.4 million the year before. Full-year revenue was down 17 per cent at US$54.9 million.
