Talks between firms and UK government in deadlock despite deadline just 48 hours away

Train operators and the government are locked in talks to extend the £3.5bn rescue deal that kept the railways running through the pandemic, which is due to expire on Sunday night.

ABCommuters GWR have theirs already.

Can we make sure that there are conditions linked to any deal, such as limit pay rises, bonuses or any profits they have to pay money back rather than rail passengers/tax payers being screwed as usual.

Breaking news: the government have awarded Southern Rail £2.7million, or just enough for a London-Cardiff return and a warm cheese sandwich.
