An Akron man was arrested and accused of stealing a delivery van from the Akron Pickle Co. and leading authorities on a short chase Tuesday.CLEVELAND, Ohio -- An Akron man was arrested and accused of stealing a delivery van from the Akron Pickle Co. and leading authorities on a short chase Tuesday.

Laurence Word, 38, is charged with auto theft, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, obstructing official business and theft. He is being held in the Summit County Jail pending his first court appearance in Akron Municipal Court.
