what are they going to do with the chip plants in Taiwan? $200bils would be taken by China Arizona is dry arid part of the state

Well done USA! Where is Europe?….

Is there enough water available? TSMC should be looking to areas with much more water.

Huge investment on water-dependent factories in a state that faces future water crisis.

Against global investments of $400 billion in Semiconductor this year, it isn’t much. At best, it’s a catastrophic insurance for 3,4, and 5nm CHIPs. It doesn’t provide full health insurance against SupplyChain collapse or disruption. It is the Obamacare version for CHIP.

🔥

Arizona is gonna need some more people to relocate to the desert.
