More than half of women entrepreneurs have been turned down for a loan to start their business

This gender inequality runs all the way from the top, as separate analysis shows women hold less than 9 per cent of chief executive and chairperson roles in the UK’s financial services sector.specialists Fox and Partners found that, in total, women occupy just 14.8 per cent of the most senior positions at financial services firms.
