Bridgepoint, the London-listed private equity investor, is in talks to buy a controlling stake in Monica Vinader, the jewellery brand.
Sky News has learnt that the buyout firm is in exclusive negotiations through its growth arm, Bridgepoint Development Capital .Monica Vinader's products have been worn by prominent fashion trendsetters including the Princess of Wales and Kate Winslet, the actress.BDC is understood to be acquiring the entirety of the Piper stake, although the brand's eponymous founder is expected to remain a shareholder.
