Lennar's stock rises after builder boosts guidance, TrueCar shares soar on layoff plan, and other stocks on the move

Lennar Corp. shares LEN, +3.77% were rising 4% in morning trading after the homebuilder reported results that topped Wall Street expectations and hiked its delivery forecast for the year.

Shares of TrueCar Inc. were rallying nearly 10% after the car-pricing platform announced restructuring plans, which include laying off 24% of its workforce, and named a new chief executive.Shares of hot chip plays including Nvidia Corp. NVDA, -1.09% and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. AMD, -3.27% were slipping after seeing strong recent gains.
