Visitors to the town can look forwards to a refreshed look and feel to the venue after Shropshire Council’s planned refurbishment work is completed.

The cinema and café will be closed from Sunday, August 6, and will reopen on Monday, August 14, with new air conditioning, counters and flooring.

“The Old Market Hall continues to be increasingly popular, and we have been adding more and more screenings to cope with the demand for tickets.
