INTEGRATED REGISTRATION. The Department of Trade and Industry integrates its Business Name Registration System into Taguig City’s Business Permitting and Licensing System . Signing the memorandum of agreement to streamline business registrations with a system-to-system approach on May 2, 2024 are DTI assistant secretary Grace Baluyan, DTI Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Taguig City Mayor Maria Laarni Cayetano and data privacy officer Danica Karla Catbagan.
The DTI worked with Taguig City to streamline business registrations with a system-to-system approach, which was formalized through a memorandum of agreement signed on May 2, 2024. It will also ensure reliable and secure transactions, real-time access to information, and enhanced detection of falsified documents.The initiative enhances the ease of doing business and creates a more conducive business ecosystem for local entrepreneurs, particularly within the micro, small and medium enterprise sector.
