The Calgary Public Library is still assessing the damage that was done to its systems after a cyberattack forced the closure of all its physical locations last week.This is an interior view of the Central Library in the city's downtown. All branches will reopen Wednesday after a cyberattack last week. Patrons will have access to library spaces and services that do not require technology.

"We don't have any details to share. As we learn, we certainly will be reporting back to the public and our staff. But for right now, the investigation is ongoing," she said. She also said the CPL is working alongside the City of Calgary's technology teams as well as other security consultants to address the breach.

Cybersecurity expert Tom Keenan, a professor in the school of architecture, planning and landscape at the University of Calgary,, told theon Tuesday it wasn't a question of if CPL would be targeted by a cyberattack, but when.
