EasyJet reported an operating profit of £597 million for the year ended September 30th, 2024, which is 25% higher than the previous year but slightly lower than analysts' expectations of £625.6 million. The company anticipates a 3% capacity increase in fiscal 2025, driven by lower oil prices and a focused holiday business. Despite challenges faced by other European airlines, EasyJet has managed to avoid some issues due to its Airbus fleet equipped with CFM engines.
