Employment in South Africa declines, but earnings see a slight increaseSouth Africa’s total employment dropped by 133,000 jobs, or 1.2%, between June and September 2024, according to the latestEMPLOYMENT IN KEY INDUSTRIES AFFECTED, which include public services such as healthcare and education. This sector saw a decrease of 131,000 jobs, a 4.3% drop.On a brighter note, some sectors bucked the trend.
