Cork recycling business switches to making ventilators for Irish hospitals

On the first episode in a brand new season of the show, made in partnership with, host, Sonya Lennon, chats to Corkman Sean Sheehan, a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ Program in 2013 and the CEO of Wisetek, about how his IT recycling company has made a big change to help out during the COVID-19 emergency.

Wisetek, which employs 450 staff globally, normally upgrades and reuses e-waste assets like laptops, desktops and disk drives but over the past 5 weeks, the company has transformed the production lines in their Cork plant into making ventilators for usage in Irish hospitals.

Why? The ventilators are killing people and also the hospitals are empty. Do keep up.
