The global pandemic has exposed the world to new threats and vulnerabilities, but also many new opportunities.Samsung President and Chief Strategy Officer Young Sohn unpacks the brave new world of technology and business with some of the leading minds driving the economy.features a discussion with Mathias Döpfner, CEO of Axel Springer SE, about lessons learned during the pandemic and what businesses can look forward to in the future.

When the coronavirus hit and the world seemed to grind to a stop — with schools closing, businesses shuttering, and the medical community struggling to meet an unprecedented global challenge — a refrain was heard again and again: "We don't know." Even as experts learned answers, like how the virus spreads or who it affects, more questions arose.

The first episode of the series, which aired on July 2, features Mathias Döpfner, CEO of Axel Springer SE. Both heads of global corporations, Sohn and Döpfner shared similar experiences adapting to the global pandemic at a breakneck speed. They discuss the lessons they learned, as well as the many reasons they are optimistic about things like the future of 5G and innovative digital news portals.

There are so many questions the world has yet to answer, but now is the time to learn. It's time to be curious, discover, adapt, and chart a path forward. With so much uncertainty that leaves many feeling anxious, Sohn's new project is a much-needed break from the noise, and will leave you feeling informed, inspired, and optimistic about the future — even if we can't know exactly what's next.
