time to start cutting PUP now for industries that are opening up or else those workers will take another 3 or 4 months off

And where are these workers supposed to live? Accomodation is scarce and expensive in tourist towns. Maybe they can bring back the workhouse or something.

Sick of these “many” businesses whinging about struggling to get workers back..the very same businesses were more than happy to abuse the wage subsidy scheme..what goes around comes around..try paying a 1/2 decent wage & you won’t have a problem getting staff

Pup should be cut when your sector re-opens if you can’t get a job then your a job seeker

Can't find people to work or can't find people to work for what they're paying? Bit of a difference there.

For the lady in the hotel saying people should lose their pup, why don't you just pay people more? Instead of ripping money out of people's hands, actively incentivise them to come back and enjoy working? You just sound like you want miserable, poor staff.
