AIB has said it was on “heightened alert” against Russian cyberattacks following the country’s invasion of Ukraine and the EU’s imposition of sanctions. “Our IT teams and systems are on heightened alert to guard against any potential cyber-security threats from Russia, and continue to work with national and international law enforcement and intelligence agencies to evaluate the risk profile,” a spokesman said.
