allyschweitzer This is a very good piece. Wish it could have sourced more perspective from voucher users. The mom with 3 kids doesn’t help stereotypes either. There’s no demographic data about who is utilizing vouchers in areas like upper NW. More info is always helpful.

allyschweitzer Check out this building's rental accommodation division filings. I believe the rents for the housing voucher tenants are double the rents of the other units. They even marketed it as a way to raise rents via turnover to HCVP.
