NPD says MultiVersus was July’s best-selling video game in the USTotal consumer spending on game hardware, content and accessories in August dropped 5% compared to the same period last year, to $4.1 billion.
Year to date spending totalled $34.6 billion, representing a 9% decline compared to the same period in 2021, but 3% higher than the total achieved during the 2020 comparable period, NPD said.
