His business, Owen Drew, soared after his appearance on the business show, with socialite Paris Hilton becoming one of his celebrity fans.

Tributes are pouring in for BBC Dragons' Den star Drew Cockton who has tragically died at the age of just 36.

Drew founded the vegan fragrance brand in 2017 but won the financial backing from Dragon Touker, 69, last year.The announcement, according to the Liverpool Echo, read: "We are truly, utterly heartbroken to have to tell you that our beloved Drew Peter George Cockton died peacefully at home yesterday.

During his candle-making career, Drew created the world's most expensive candle to celebrate Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's nuptials in 2018, after the detail of the Duchess of Sussex's floral arrangements was released.Last year Drew appeared on the show and told the Dragons how, at the age of 22, he opened a hotel business on Canal Street in Manchester, leaving his job in financial services behind, against the advice of his family.
