Image: Facebook, EDTEA KZNKwaZulu-Natal MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs Siboniso Duma has urged the private sector to work with government and its entities in an effort to rebuild the province’s economy.
The province’s economy has been struggling as a result of COVID-19, the last year’s July civil unrest and this year’s deadly floods that also destroyed infrastructure and businesses.
It is a needed call, whenever I pass by Hilton hotel, I think of jobs lost due to the closure. The city, SMMEs, Big Business and the ministry must sit and be frank then we will see change.
