This reminds me of the efficient markets hypothesis which in a nutshell means the market is random and cannot be predicted. Despite this fact, analysts will continue to predict the market as this gives investors more confidence. I wonder what analysts will predict for 2019 🤔

They are like weather forecasts host !!! Only thing they are right about is what the weather was like yesterday...
