Food producers like its plan to increase trade, investments and supply chain resilience. Where $244.1 million is earmarked to improve trade between Canada and countries in the region, agriculture and agri-food are listed as priorities. An additional $31.8 million to establish Canada’s first agriculture office was announced prior to the full release of the strategy to improve trade outcomes.
