A North Texas rideshare driver is recovering after picking up a man and woman he thought were legitimate customers.Francis Watson began driving for the rideshare app Lyft roughly two months ago.

"I’m actually terrified again talking about it because it’s terrible and will stay with me for the rest of my life," Watson recalled. "I was cut right here beneath my throat, right here, that’s the first place I was attacked." "The behavior described is unacceptable and has no place on the Lyft platform. We have permanently removed the rider from the Lyft community and have reached out to the driver to offer our support and stand ready to work with law enforcement with their investigation."Watson and his attorney, Will Clark, said the company’s statement is misleading, pointing out that Lyft on Friday denied his claim seeking medical benefits. Lyft did not address his benefits in its statement.

Frisco police are continuing to investigate, while the two suspects face charges including robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and evading arrest.

Gross, and also the usual suspects

Why is she smirking? I hope the jury sees this picture! 🤡

Praying for his healing and Lyft absolutely should cover the medical bills. These companies unfortunately don't take any responsibility. Also praying these two go to prison as they should.

That B.... doesnt even seem to care but she will soon face reality and get what she deserves that's y u don't do rideshare u can't trust any strangers!

Life in prison! They obviously do not know how to act in the free world.

Why are most of the crimes we see, young black kids? I'm not understanding this trend.

This is so sad and it makes things bad for other ride share people. Hope driver recover soon and continue to drive.

Why drive for a company that does not take care of employees. If everyone stuck together and stopped working for a week lyft It would change there toon.

They belong o death row! Absolute scumbags!

He the driver going to be ok

Who was attacked. I know left drivers

Shocker

Misunderstood yooots

fuckthepolice JusticeforTyreNichols justicefor ANY COP IS A BAD COP

I will keep my opinion and comments about who and what those people are will be kept to myself.

Wont be supporting lyft any longer that’s bulls$&

Black criminals is what’s going on in Frisco

I'm assuming they have some sort of dummy id account to request a ride? Or this might be the easiest whodunit in crime stopper history.

It doesn't surprise me either that Lyft isn't helping. As a full-time Lyft driver myself, they have actually become more greedy and cut the pay rate of the drivers. They actually tell us we aren't allow to carry protection, but they aren't the ones driving.

Now frisco has big city crime frisco sucks I remember when it was a nice little town

Nucking Figers

what is going on in FRISCO?!

They deserve the worst!! 😡😡😡

Sad these two should be

Lyft has declined to help with his medical bills.
