Connecticut-based South Point Capital LLC is making a major investment in Lincoln Property Co., one of the largest Dallas-based developers.

A New England-based investor is teaming up with one of Dallas’ biggest developers.

Terms of the deal with Lincoln Property and the value of the investment were not disclosed. Berkshire Global Advisors acted as an advisor to Lincoln Property in the transaction. Based in Greenwich, Conn, Stone Point Capital has more than $40 billion of total assets under management.
