financialpost Yes. 40 years ago, real estate wasn't supposed to be considered an investment when planning for retirement. It can only be an investment when the value keeps rising, which it shouldn't if we have sufficient supply and typical demand.

financialpost No worries. Those who bought because they could and deem the investment to be a long term investment, they will just be exposed to cycles. Those who overleveraged because of greed will pay the price. No more BOC bail outs please. Bring back capitalism.
