An investigation into the 14-year-old's death alleged the company was aware safety sensors on two drop-ride harnesses were modified.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando Eagle Drop Slingshot, the company operating the drop tower at ICON Park whereafter falling, settled with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services by agreeing to close down the ride and pay a $250,000 fine, according to documents released Friday evening.
