The stock market is poised to rally thanks to strong earnings and a weakening dollar, Deutsche Bank's chief US equity strategist says

Stronger-than-expected first quarter earnings and a weakening US dollar will help the stock market rally in the near term, according to Deutsche Bank's US stock chief.

As the US dollar weakens, companies that do business overseas should see a boost in sales. Last week, the greenback slumped to a one-year low against a basket of other currencies. Still, there is considerable uncertainty for the market moving forward, Chadha says, adding that the US economy could either"start growing" or"suddenly crash."
