On May 12, a Starmart Express bus crashed into 12 other vehicles on the North-South Expressway, while a TRA Xpress bus collided with two lorries on the same highway the next day.
In a statement, the ministry said that the suspensions were ordered by the Land Public Transport Agency through the licence cancellation and suspension committee after it conducted investigations into the accidents.
