It’s hard to say which Sun Valley visitor has it worse these days:, whose company’s stock price has actually fared far better than the rest of the sector. Yet he veers from one self-inflicted PR wound to the next with a regularity so frightening that you have to wonder whether Wall Street will start to take notice and start to dock points.
Sun Valley won’t necessarily provide some kind of moment of reckoning for these people. But maybe with all these masters of the media universe sharing the same oxygen for a few days, there’s at least a chance they can start to figure out how to dig themselves out of some very deep holes.
