Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Infineon Technologies AG decided to invest in its facility at the Kulim Hi-Tech Park which was set up by the federal government.
At a ceramah here, Anwar said the German company only finalised its decision on its RM25 billion investment to expand its Kulim facility “four days ago”. “The company had sought guarantees from the Kedah government in 2021, but in reality, the decision was made four days ago.”
