Rory McIlroy again struck it rich for the 2023 season after a strong finish at the recent Tour Championship.
McIlroy was not able to chase down eventual winner Viktor Hovland, who captured the €17m prize but still earned a pretty penny with his fourth-place finish netting a cool €3.7m. The Holywood man had some massive payouts including earning €1.8m for this second-place finish at the US Open and a cool €900,000 for a fourth-place finish at the recent BMW Championship.
